Realme, as promised, unveiled the Realme GT5 Pro, the company’s latest flagship smartphone, at an event in China. The phone features a 6.78-inch 1.5K BOE X1 AMOLED screen with 4,500 nits brightness, Pro-XDR high dynamic display, Dolby Vision, 2160Hz PWM dimming, DC dimming, 144Hz refresh rate and 20,000 levels of brightness adjustment.
The phone has ultra narrow bezels and the chin bezel is just 1.94mm. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It features a 12,000 mm² 3VC iceberg cooling system and has Geek Performance Panel 2.0, allowing dual GPU+CPU scheduling for the first time.
The Red Rock and Bright Moon phones utilize high-end nano-skin technology that has passed more than 500,000 wearability tests, the company said.
The Starry Night color features AG’s Star Flash glass technology, which provides an equally delicate and silky finish. In addition, the Realme GT5 Pro features an ultra-strong metal aluminum mid-frame that increases drop resistance by 40 percent.
The Realme GT5 Pro features the industry’s first palm quick unlock. When the display is off, the user can simply open their palm and bring it close to the screen to turn it on and quickly unlock the device, the company said.
The phone features a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle and 50MP periscopic telephoto camera with Sony IMX890 sensor, 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, telephoto close-ups and low-light telephoto portraits.
The phone has a 5400 mAh battery with 100W charging with flash and 50W wireless charging with flash. It delivers 50% charge in 12 minutes in wired mode and promises over 80% battery life even after 1600 charge cycles.
