Anticipated future updates will extend its coverage to MLF, NFL, NCAAF, NWSL, and WNBA.
The newly launched Apple Sports app offers sports enthusiasts instant access to real – time scores, stats, and odds directly from their lock screens. Currently ad-free, the app is initially accessible to iPhone users in the specified regions. Apple highlights that the Sports app is adept at keeping users informed about multiple leagues, with additional prominent leagues set to join in the next season. The app is available for free in the App Store, facilitating users in staying updated with their preferred teams and leagues.
The Apple Sports app also enables direct streaming of favorite leagues, redirecting users to Apple TV Plus or other streaming services for live game viewing.
